We work in partnership with a wide range of organisations, companies, and charities, big or small, across the private and public sector, so that together we can save lives in communities.

Driven by our shared values and bringing together our skills, knowledge, and experience, our meaningful partnerships have a real positive impact on communities across the country.

There are lots of different ways to get involved whether it’s supporting young people, spreading awareness of first aid in your local community, creating a shared product or service, or becoming a corporate fundraising partner.

Benefits of a charity partnership with us

  • Improve the outcome of emergencies through quality care in the communities that we all live and work in
  • Train and equip more life savers to help relieve pressure on our national health service and support our communities for decades to come
  • Demonstrate your company or organisation's values, care and compassion to your employees, customers, suppliers, and your local community
  • As a well-known and trusted charity, we can also help to boost your brand awareness and support your organisational objectives

Collaborations and strategic partnerships

We’re always open to collaborating with other organisations and companies who share our values. By joining forces, we can have a bigger impact on communities across the country while achieving our mutual goals and objectives.

Sponsorship opportunities

Sponsor ‘Your St John Ambulance’ and we will help you raise the profile of your business and give back to the communities where you operate.

We offer plenty of sponsorship options from project work in schools, community, with our volunteers and events like the London Marathon. These events and projects help us raise the awareness of first aid and put more lifesavers in your community.

Cause-related marketing and brand licensing

With our cause-related marketing and brand licensing, you’ll be linking your company to our trusted charity brand, helping to differentiate your product from your competitors.

As a charity with a wide appeal and a compelling mission, we’re just what socially concerned consumers are looking for.

Corporate donations and matched giving

Your company's contribution to our work can directly benefit people and communities that matter to us both. We can discuss with you the priority areas of our work that need further support, and how they can best fit your objectives and business purpose.

Corporate matched giving

Matched Giving is when an organisation matches the amount of fundraising an employee raises for a charity. This is a great way to engage employees, and boost donations to St John Ambulance.

By accessing funds through matched giving you could double the value of your donation. Contact your employer to find out if they support match-giving, these schemes can vary from one organisation to another.

Corporate Foundation

Your company may support charities through a corporate foundation. Supporting us through your corporate foundation meets criteria in community, health, and skills learning. This can contribute to your own objectives and bring benefits to the areas we both want to impact.

Donating your time and professional services

Donations are not just about money. Businesses also support St John Ambulance by donating their time and professional expertise. This helps us save on costs and widens our access to different types of expertise. Also, it allows us to concentrate our funding on our charitable initiatives and to work on new and innovative projects to drive our organisation.

Some options are:

  • services, such as legal and accounting advice
  • prizes for raffles and competitions
  • meeting and venue space

Payroll giving

As an employee, you can support us all year round by setting up a regular gift through payroll giving. It is an easy and tax-efficient way to support us. Employees can sign up to give money each month and donations are taken before tax, so an £8 donation is worth £10. You can set up your regular donation through your HR or payroll department.

Set up a payroll donation

If your company does not already have a payroll giving scheme, visit the HM Revenues and Customs website to find out how you can set one up. We can help to launch and promote it to employees.
